Dan saya pun menuruti sarannya.. Sampai akhirnya di tahun 2016 ini saya ikut acara roadblog. Penyelenggara acara tersebut menawarkan berbagai kerjasama dengan syarat blognya harus top level domain..bukan yang gratisan.. Nahloo..saya gak bisa ikutan donk..
Setelah acara itu..saya mulai ancang-ancang untuk beralih ke TLD. Ditambah lagi saya bergabung dengan komunitas blog yang memberikan banyak sekali peluang job review. Tapi syaratnya ya ..itu..harus TLD.. Ditambah lagi komunitas itu punya program Arisan Link.
Saya tergabung di grup Arisan IV yang belakangan punya nama dan ikon yang earcatchy banget ?. Saya nggak tau total ada berapa grup, yang jelas jumlah member 30 per grup. Arisan dikocok setiap 2 minggu sekali. Pemenang akan diulas blognya oleh member. begitchuu..
Nahhh tadinya ada 3 member di grup 4 ini yang masih pake blog gratisan.. Bahkan yang sudah ngeblog dari tahun 2009 pun masih pake blog gratisan ? Tapi lambat laun..jumlah pengguna blog gratisan di grup ini berkurang..dari 3 jadi 2…dari 2..jadi 1..dan itu saya…hahhaa..

Selain karena memang tergoda untuk pake Dewaweb…saya cek domain yang saya inginkan juga tersedia. Padahal di tempat lain tidak tersedia (hehe saya gak tau kok bisa gitu ya..).
So far saya sangat terbantu. Apalagi paket yang saya pilih kan paket scout yang harganya paling murah 150 ribuan dengan kapasitas 200 MB. Server bisa pilih mau di Indonesia, Singapura, atau Amerika. Tergantung pengunjung blog kita banyakan dari mana.. Proses migrasi juga dibantu..dan blog saya juga dimonitor. Taunya pas dapet email..kalo blog saya pemakaian Resources nya mencapai limit. Salah satu dampaknya akses ke website jadi lambat (bottleneck). Pemakaian Resources biasanya dipengaruhi oleh jenis dan berapa banyak script/plugin yang dipakai di website, atau oleh jumlah pengunjung website yang naik.
Katanya sih solusinya upgrade ke paket yang lebih besar kapasitasnya. Tapi sementara saya kurangi aja dulu file-file foto yang makan banyak memori. So far kapasitasnya sudah lebih besar ..tersisa sekitar 50% free space. Apakah ini akan berpengaruh signifikan pada kecepatan akses dan mencegah bottleneck? Semoga… ?
